It's been in operation since 2002, when the University of Maryland Hospital for Children created the East Coast's first Breathmobile. Inside the Breathmobile, there is a small waiting area, a testing area and two exam rooms. Onboard the Breathmobile, you'll find an asthma team that includes a pediatric allergist or pulmonologist, a pediatric nurse practitioner, a registered nurse and a driver. We are seeking a fluent Spanish/English bilingual administrative assistant to work both in the clinic and accompany the Breathmobile team to help facilitate effective communication between patients and clinicians. Office based duties include scheduling patients, answering phones, organizing health fairs and assisting with other work as needed. Position Requirements:Completion of a high school level of course work with attainment of a high school diploma or a state High School Equivalency Certificate GED is required. A minimum of three years general clerical/administrative experience in a business, professional office or health care environment, or equivalent, is preferred. Job Summary:
The Property Assistant is responsible for providing support services to facilitate the timely and accurate implementation of objectives of the office location. The Property Assistant must exhibit and maintain a high level of efficiency and organization while creating a professional and cooperative environment
Responsibilities:
Completes a wide variety of assignments which are often confidential in nature
Collects information for, and/or prepares a variety of ongoing administrative reports
Establishes, maintains and revises record keeping and filing systems
Answering and directing calls
Answers inquiries concerning activities, operations of the office
Communicates emergency situations to management
Makes accounts receivable calls as directed by General Manager
Resolves vendor and tenant billing issues
Monitors property lockbox account and prepares revenue batches for posting
Codes invoices for management approval through NEXUS
Distributes monthly tenant invoices
Keeps tenant contact list and emergency procedures manual up-to-date
Prepares routine work orders
Maintains tenant and vendor insurance certificates
Maintains various maintenance, key distribution and access logs for the Property
Maintains tenant files
Classifies, sorts, copies and files correspondence, records and other documents
Opens, sorts and distributes mail and prepares responses to routine inquiries
Maintains computer files
Arranges meetings and conferences, schedules interviews and appointments, and makes travel arrangements
Maintains regular attendance and punctuality
Delivers packages as needed
Performs special projects as assigned
