JOB SUMMARY:

Manages the production process in a manner that optimizes work flow and efficiency and meets production goals and profitability objectives. Directly supervises production workers to ensure that production standards are followed and goals are achieved, positive employee relations result, and policies, rules and regulations and procedures are followed.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Develops and maintains positive employee relations by interpreting and consistently applying company policies and practices across the work group, and recognizing, understanding and valuing employee differences.

Identifies potential/current work issues and resolves them in an appropriate and timely manner, and suggests methods to improve employee commitment and motivation.

Communicates company policies and ensures compliance with work rules and safety requirements.

Participates in employee selection activities and trains new and existing employees on production, department and company policy/practice-related topics.

Supervises all aspects of the production process in a manner that minimizes inventory and overtime, optimizes productivity and controls operating expenses.

Analyzes internal documents and reports to ensure production and staff schedules are aligned with production goals.

Identifies and recommends production improvement strategies that enhance equipment and worker performance, efficiency and product quality.

Monitors equipment and schedules repairs in a manner that does not compromise production schedules and demands.

Inspects products to ensure specifications and assists with machine set-up and adjustments, as needed.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

AA degree in Business, Management or production-related field from two year college or technical school, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Bachelor's degree preferred

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

2 years of related production experience and proven effectiveness in a lead role

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

Ability to supervise employees and maintain positive employee relations

Manage multiple priorities against tight deadlines

Read, interpret and apply procedural, maintenance, and policy information

Utilize math skills related to the department operations

Apply logic and reasoning in addressing technical, operational and employee-related issues.

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE, LICENSES etc.:

Bilingual skills, if needed

Job Duties and Responsibilities


The Satellite TV Installer / Technician spearheads the installation, as well as assists with testing and repairing equipment that receives digital signals for residential customers by performing the following duties:
 

Uses problem-solving and technical skills to install satellite dishes and related equipment


Evaluates job site to assess optimal placement of satellite dish and communicates with customers to review the installation process
Troubleshoots systems to determine the appropriate resolution for reported problems with usage
Provides customer education regarding system usage
Manages the administrative processes including van inventory and appropriate documentation
Ensures that the highest quality of service is provided to promote superior customer satisfaction
Adheres to safety guidelines and requirements

Storage Engineer needed for a 12 month contract opportunity in the Beltsville, MD area.  You will architect, design, and test DAS, NAS, FC, and SAN storage solutions for the Red Hat and Solaris platforms/
 
Other duties:
• Validate vendor support matrices for all configuration items (hardware and software) within a storage solution
• Develop standardized storage and server configurations for SCSI and SAN storage solutions on HP and Solaris server hardware
• Test and evaluate SAN switch hardware and firmware
• Test and evaluate HBAs, HBA firmware, multi-path software, and other software components within the context of DAS, NAS, and SAN storage
• Test and evaluate storage processor operating system releases for 3Par and EMC
• Test and evaluate all required configuration item releases within a fiber channel, SAN configuration
• Produce test plans and test summaries for all products
• Administer lab SAN environment to maintain availability for product engineering

Overview:
Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Commercial markets, the Director will be responsible for providing sales and operational leadership to grow the business unit.  This position will have true Profit and Loss responsibility.  It is responsible for delivering a variety of networking and wireless services to our customers.
Responsibilities:
The Business Unit Director will be responsible for the following:
-         Responsible for the strategic direction of the business unit.
-         Responsible to drive revenue and profit growth within the business.
-         Forming a strategic plan to market and deliver Vision’s converged IP services.  Form an operational plan to ensure proper coordination and communication to deliver a seamless solution to customers.
-         Deliver networking solutions such as network and network security assessments, wireless design and implementation, Data Center operations support, and similar services.
-         Additional services include physical security offerings such as CCTV and access control; audio visual offerings such as Video Teleconferencing, digital signage, multi-media conference rooms and Network Operations Centers.
-         Review and maintain all business processes within the business unit, evaluating existing processes for efficiency improvements.  Develop  plans to implement efficiency improvements through the engagement of appropriate functional teams.
-         Responsible for creating and producing regular management reporting directly linked to customer satisfaction and services program delivery, aimed at continuous improvement.
-          Develop and provide modeling tools and templates to functional leaders in support of planning and development efforts within the region.

The Senior Fulfillment Clerk is responsible to fulfill printed and bound client orders as per the PWA System order specifications.
